Zimbabwe Relief Foundation logo

Logo I designed for the Zimbabwe Relief Foundation. The human figure is based on a sketch by a Zimbabwean child who was helped by the non-profit group. I used the colors of the Zimbabwean flag; the yellow area is shaped like the country of Zimbabwe. The figure makes up the eastern border, while the rest of the country is outlined with strips of red ribbon. I chose strips of red ribbon (instead of a solid red border) as a visual connection with the red HIV/AIDS Awareness ribbon (Zimbabwe had one of the highest HIV/AIDS rates in the world).
